Having lots of Grandma time!

My kids got tons of Grandma time this past week. My Grandma and Mom came all the way down from Canada to watch my kids while we went on our cruise. How nice of them. My kids were so excited to see them and spend time with them. Although, everytime Henry saw my moms truck he thought they were going to go and see Grandpas cows. Katelyn and Henry keep on asking me when we are going to go to Canada!
Here is GG playing with Morgan, the kids have really gotten to know her very well, it has been a really treat to have her around for the week! I was able to spend a few days with them after we got home and it was so nice. We made Jason babysit on Saturday while we 'ran a few errands.' Yes that did also include some shopping! We went out to lunch and it was really fun having girl time(as Katelyn would call it)!
Grandma found these pretty pine cones at the park so Katelyn wanted to make some pretty Christmas trees out of them! Fun!
If you haven't noticed Henry in the background of this picture, then look now and guess what he was just barely doing, or trying to do! It was so funny, he came running out of the bathroom at the same time that I took this picture. We have been trying to get him to go pee on the potty and he just refuses. Although today he actually did go, so we are making some progress! Yipee! I just thought that was a priceless picture, you can't see anything, so I don't know exactly what he was doing!
Playing Henrys new game that he got for his birthday, 'Hulabaloo!' Thanks Brianne for telling me to get it. It's a cute game although Henry doesn't quite get it yet!

My mom and Grandma couldn't believe how much food Morgan could eat. She just downs food without even pausing. They said that my kids were really good for them while we were gone, so I'm very glad that things went well. I'm so grateful that I was able to leave them in good hands and also to come home to a VERY clean house! It was sooo nice! Thanks Grandma and Mom, you guys are awesome!

Katelyns Preschool Graduation!

Katelyn has absolutely loved going to preschool, but she is ready to move on to 'Kindergarten!' She is going to miss her class and definetly 'Ms Amy' who has made the last two years so much fun!
Katelyn got to be Momma Bear in their little skit, she loves acting and having a ton of fun, it was very cute to watch!
They've gone on tons of field trips and have learned so much! We are excited to have her move on and Henry is very excited to be able to go to Ms. Amys class next year!

Our First Cruise!

Father Son Campout!

Jason and Henry got to go to our Stake Father/Son Campout! I think that Jason was more excited than Henry, although he was excited to! This is what they looked like when they got home, plus the smell of campfire really bad! Jason said that Henry didn't go to sleep until 11:00pm(usually goes around 7:30pm) and he ate about a half bag of marshmellows. So I'm sure that they he was in heaven. It was pretty cold, but they survived.
Katelyn wanted to have a GNO so I let her sleep with mommy and she loved that! I love that we can spend time with our kids, they are at such a fun age and we will be able to do more fun things together as they get older!
We leave on our cruise tomorrow, YIPEE!!!

My Big BOY Turned 3!!!

I had a little birthday party for Henry because he sees Katelyn go to friends partys all the time and so I figured it was his turn to have some fun. It wasn't the warmest day out but we still attempted the water and they had a lot of fun, until they got the shivers really bad!

We got a McQueen and Mater cake from Walmart, and Henry got into it just before we did the candles. It was fun to share it with his little friend Aaron who also had a birthday the same week!

Yes, he really enjoyed the cake as you can see! My kids all love the frosting the best!
Katelyn and Morgan were great helpers at opening the presents! Henry loved being the center of attention!

Henry got a lot of fun toys from his cousins, grandparents, friends and his family! His favorite gift was the $1 coloring book and crayons that had Madagascar on them. He absolutely loves that movie! He loved all the toys and was really a happy boy!

We took the kids bowling and they loved it. Katelyn was the only one that got a strike and it was for Henrys turn, so he ended up winning! Thank goodness for bumper pads! The highlight of the event was when Henry threw a ball down the wrong lane so I decided to quickly try and stop it before it got too far and well, yeah, that didn't happen as I had planned. I wiped out pretty good, those floors are dang slippery! Don't try this, just let the ball go! Believe me, it's for your own good!

We sure love our Henry, he is such an active boy, and he makes us laugh all the time! My favorite phrase from Henry lately is 'Thankyou for Helping Mom.' I guess that I say that to him a lot, but it is really cute to hear him say it. He loves to ride bikes with Katelyn and loves to help clean up, yipee! I'm just hoping that '3' will be a big change for our little boy so that we can graduate from the 'terrible two's.'

Training for a Half Marathon!!!

I have been trying to think of something to blog about and well, now I found something! A few friends in the ward/area are getting together in the mornings and going jogging. I've been wanting to do this for a long time now and they are starting at 6:15am, and most of you know that I am not up at this time of day. I always tell people to not call me before 9am because I may not be out of bed. Well now on Mon/Wed/Fri and sometimes Sat. I will be up at the butt crack of dawn! It was extremely hard at first and I defientely wanted to just stay in bed(actually the first two times I did sleep after my alarm clock went off). Jason told a friend that I would never do it, so after I heard that I wanted to prove him wrong and show him what I'm made of! He he!
So I am registering for the half Marathon in Provo in August and I'm really excited to do it. I think that it will be a lot of fun and if anyone wants to join up they still can! The more the marrier!

I have had so much more energy and have gotten my day started quite a bit earlier, it has been so nice!

Free again!

I just wanted to tell everyone that I am a free women once again! That is true, Morgan is officially weaned from mommy! This means that daddy can now get up in the night with all three kids and can't say 'I can't feed her', 'ha, it's finally his turn to take over.'
No, our kids actually sleep really good so I can't complain about that one! I'm just excited to know that I don't have to rush back home to feed a child. It is great news for me! So if anyone is wanting to go on a vacation, count me in, and I don't care if it is really long either! He he!


Morgan is still a mommys girl, although she would probably cuddle with anyone, she is my little sweetheart! I took her to the doctor this week for her one year checkup and she is in the 5th % for weight and 10th % for height. She weighs 17.5lbs. That is smaller than my other two were! She got 5 shots and wasn't too happy with that, oh and she is on medication for an ear infection, plus she is teething! Poor little girl!
