Finally Potty Trained!

We thought that this day would never happen, but low and behold it has arrived. Henry is now officially a big boy, I can't believe it either!
Warning, some of the following pictures may not be suitable for children-he he! He likes to watch himself and gets a big grin on his face everytime he goes, he is so proud of himself, just as we are of him.

Everytime someone in the family goes to the bathroom, Henry says 'You potty trained!' It's cute! Most of Henrys little friends are all potty trained and I thought that this day would never arrive because he refused to go #2 and then finally after going in his big boy underwear a couple times he did it and goes by himself now, it's amazing. One night I decided to not put pullups on him either and he has never wet the bed since(about 2 weeks so far) so he is truly potty trained, just in time for preschool. Yipee!

When Katelyn got potty trained we took her to Chuck e Cheese so we told Henry we'd do the same thing and he absolutely loved it. The kids had a blast and ran wild. We lost Morgan(well Jason lost her) and one of the workers brought her out of the kitchen. I guess that she was hungry. Yeah, we felt dumb!

Top of Utah 1/2 Marathon!

Yes, that is right! I did another half marathon, that is two in less than a month and it will definetly be a while before I do another one. My body is telling me to take a break! It was a great day for a race and I had a good time, but enough is enough for a bit. Here is my little cheerleader that comes with me everywhere. She came up to Logan with me for a girls weekend and to hang out with her cousins, she was in heaven!

What a team! These friends are awesome and great motivators, I couldn't have done it without them and their help and support! They got me out of bed at 6am or earlier to train for this race! It was worth it though!

It was so nice to have someone waiting and cheering for me at the finish line(background). Nate and Brianne got their kids and Katelyn out of bed and drove across town to come cheer me on. You guys are awesome. As soon as I saw Brianne we both started crying, it was nice to have someone know and appreciate the hard work and effort that this took. She could tell that I was very very tired. Nate had run a full Marathon a couple years back, so he definetly can relate.

Well the next goal is to do a 5K or a 10K with my sisters, so you better start training!

First Day of Kindergarten!

That is right, Katelyn is finally in Kindergarten. I can't believe I have a child that old. She is so excited to go with all of her friends. We have a brand new school just a couple blocks away so it will be very nice and convenient. Katelyn was so excited to meet her new teacher(Mrs. Wells), she is very nice! Daddy even went into work late so that he could come and be a part of this special day with Katelyn. She was so happy to have both of us their. We had an orientation and learned about the teachers plans for the year, it was great!

Swim Lessons!

My kids are little fish, they absolutely love the water.
Henry loved going to swim lessons with his friend Aaron. He almost drowned a couple times from stepping off the ledge. Yeah he was right next to the teacher and I still had to tell the teacher to grab him, kind of scary. I was constantly chasing Morgan and trying to get her to not jump or throw things in the pool. What an active little girl!

Katelyn loved her swim lessons and did really well in them. She loved being able to jump off the diving board at the end of class. What a great kicker!

Summertime Fun!

Wow, I can't believe that summer is over! We had a great summer but it just went by way too fast. We had a few family reunions!
Here the kids discovered a mouse that the bigger kids had killed, how exciting! Having a blast! He He!

Henry is my little cinderella! Jks, he made some marks on the floor with his little suitcase so he wanted to clean them up. He is the best little helper!

We got to go to 'Liberty Park' in Salt Lake a couple times with some friends that had moved away and were back in town for a visit. It was great to see them.

The kids loved the rides. We couldn't find Henry and Logan for a minute and then looked over and apparently they had gotten on one of the rides for free. They were just enjoying the little car ride, it was pretty funny!

We got to see Grandma and Grandpa Felt also, the kids loved spending time with them. They live in Sacramento, CA area, so we don't get to see them too often. They are awesome people!

We also had 'Cherry Hill' passes this summer and were able to go quite a few times. A lot of people asked me how I did it with 3 kids, but it was pretty fun and easy. Although, I suppose that is why I don' t have any pictures of Cherry Hill because it would've been a bit too hard with 3 kids and a camera. We were able to go with some friends and the kids absolutely loved it, we'll probably do it again next year. It was well worth it, Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Tatro for the passes!

Oquirrh Temple Open House!

We are so lucky to have so many temples close to us, and also to be able to attend the open house of one of them. We had talked to the kids before hand and they were so excited to be able to see inside a temple. We got to go with my two sisters and their families as well as Jason parents and sister in law with her kids. The kids were all very well behaved, I'm sure that they had all felt the spirit sometime while they were there. It was neat to be able to explain certain things to them about the temple.

Echo Lake Montana!

I have been slacking this summer on posting so things are a little out of order. We had a Folsom family reunion up at my parents cabin in Montana at the end of July. We had never been to the cabin because they just got it this year. We all loved it so much and the kids just had a blast. The weather was great for swimming and boating! Morgan loved playing in the water with her cousins. My brother has twins that are 7 months old and this is the boy(Nash).

Morgan just loved going everywhere, up and down the big stairs, etc. She absolutely loved roaming everywhere, and it was nice to have the big cousins watching out for her. Max is so cute with her!

Dylan is trying to comfort Henry after their big fall on the coaster cars. The kids would go up and down the driveway taking turns. It turns out that Henry was the winner for the biggest bruises(look at the picture 2 below). Henry kept on wandering off, we found him chasing the neighbors dog down the road. What a crazy little man!Pictures of the cabin from the lake. It was huge and sooooo much fun for everyone!

Here is our little superman. Actually he is posing so that I could take a picture of his bruise on the left side of the forehead(our left). It was huge right after he fell, the picture doesn't do it justice. He was up and playing shortly after it happened.

What a pro, yes that is me in the picture. This is the first time that I had ever tried to kneeboard before, and it was a lot of fun. My little nephew was a pro at doing 360's on it so we all had to try and I actually did it, I was dang proud of myself.

Our big girl wasn't afraid to try the kneeboard after she saw her cousins doing it, and she got up the very first try. We are so proud of her, it was really cute to watch. She was doing tricks like you wouldn't believe. OK I was just kidding about that part, but she was good at it! She was so excited to call her daddy to tell him about her accomplishment.(Jason flew home for a couple days in the middle of the week for work, and then he flew back for some more fun)

This picture was taken at Jasons dads cabin that we went to for a couple of days at the end of our trip. The tube was a hit with the kids, Henry kept on asking to go faster, he loved it. Katelyn got to go on it with Grandma Lorraine, but Grandma was the one that wanted to go slower, he he! Jason and I took our turn on it and I think that Grandpa Hull had the most fun trying to get us off. Good times!

Jason really wanted Katelyn to try waterskiing, so she got the skiis on and then she wasn't too happy about it. She said that they hurt her feet, it was a good try though! Maybe next year!

Jason was so excited when he got up on the wakeboard. It had been a long time since we've gone boating, so it was a new thing for us to try all of these fun sports. It was a blast! We were glad to have daddy there for most of the trip.

Katelyns First Cavity!

Katelyn was so excited when she went to the dentist for her cleaning, because she wanted to tell him that she had no cavities! Well, come to find out she not only had one, but two cavities! So just her and mommy got to make their own special trip to the dentist to get one of them filled. They want to do them at different times. Katelyn is such a big girl and so brave, but I don't think that she is going to be as excited to go to the dentist anymore. Sorry girl! She did get a smoothie for being so brave!

1st Half Marathon!

Yes, you did read it right, I actually finished my 1st half marathon! I couldn't believe it, we had been training for the last 3 to 4 months and it finally paid off. I'm so proud that I actually stuck with it.

Yesterday we ran the 'Provo River Trail Half Marathon,' and it was such a beautiful run and the best weather possible, even though we couldn't feel our toes for the first 3 miles, we couldn't have asked for better weather!

Jason was a great photographer for the day, I think that he knew he would get in trouble otherwise, he he! I'm the one in the pink(middle) trying to pass the people in front of me. We just passed our families and had just a short distance to the finish line, a couple friends that I ran with are right there as well(Kristina and Melissa) and my father in law and Morgans little red head in the corner. It's funny because we were looking for our familes and seriously the first person that I saw was Morgan because her red hair stuck out so much. Now I really know what people mean when they tell me that.

Here is my little cheering squad, it was so neat to see them and how excited they were for me! Maybe they were just excited to be done waiting so long. Jason was so cute and bought all of these t-shirts for the family and wrote the cutest little sayings on all of them. Morgans says 'Run Mommy Run,' it was hilarious. It was so nice to see how proud of me they were. What a great husband!

Here is the team! These guys are the best, I definetly couldn't have done this without them. We all started training from the beginning and stuck with it till the end. It was such a great feeling to know that we could actually do it. I had never really ran before (besides playing sports) so this was a huge deal for me. I'm excited to run some more, we aren't finished yet!
