That's right we are off to another new school year. Look at how much these kids have grown. They were so excited to go back to school and meet their new teachers. Yes, I was very excited to. I am down to only one child 2 times a week while Morgan is in preschool. Yah, I'm going to PARTAY!!!
Katelyn has a great teacher this year. Mrs. Banks seems very nice. She even has one of her really good friends in her class again this year. Her and Braelyn love playing together. She is now in second grade.
Henry is soooo excited to go to Katelyns big school now. He also has one little neighbor friend in his class, and his Kindergarten teacher seems very nice.
He is such a big boy, in fact he is so big that he got on the school bus all by himself the othere day. Thats right, last week I went to pick him up from school and he was nowhere to be found. I had no idea where he could be. The teacher said they would look for him around the school. So I drove the neighborhood and couldn't find him. Then I went back to the school to see if they had found him and all the teachers were eating lunch. Great, I was very happy at the moment. My mind started to wander and think of all the bad things that could happen to my child. I was a wreck.
The school called the police to report it. People were running all over the school checking everywhere. Then the thought came to my mind that he may have taken the bus with his new friend from class whom I had just met his mom. The secretary called the bus drivers and they said he wasn't on the bus. This is when I called Jason and he was in the car home in no time.
So the school called his friends house and her son hadn't gotten off the bus yet so she was going to watch for him. Henry didn't get off on Haydens stop so she got on the bus and found him sitting there. He had thought that the bus would bring him to his house, little did he know.
We were so relieved to find him, so The Police, Jason, and I all met at their house. Henry was very scared to see the Police, but it was a very good teaching lesson for him. What a great reunion. Yes, Henry ended up being grounded for a while.
I am so greatful to those who dropped everything to help me. It means so much to me and I'm so greatful for the wonderful neighbors and friends that I have. I love you guys.
I Love my kids, but this is just a Huge reminder of how much I really do Love them and need to protect and warn them of things. 'You Live to close to the school, so the Bus will not bring you home!'
My little princess is started preschool. I can't believe it, yes she is quite a bit smaller than everyone in her
class. Her teacher is Ms. Amy(who Katelyn and Henry both had). We are very excited to start a new year.
We had to watch a safety video before we went, did anyone listen? Probably not!
I made Jason wipe out twice, he may tell you otherwise, but don't believe him. It was a great date night!
Haven is now 8 months old and has been scooting everywhere for sometime. She took her first official crawl the other day. I'm happy for her, but at the same time, I'm fine with her not moving too fast, now it's just one more body to chase around, grrr! =) We sure love this little bundle of joy. She is always so Happy and is the best sleeper ever. I'm not complaining!
This boy is always falling, what else can I say about this lovely shiner on his head. He absolutely loves riding his bike and was wearing his helmet when he took a BIG fall. He also got a 'Concussion' from it and threw up all over. Poor kid. It actually healed up quite a bit faster than I thought it would, considering it happened not too soon before we had family pictures.
Why do kids love making messes? Because mom has to clean it up afterwards. These two had a blast painting pictures and probably themselves to.
Are you wondering what this picture is? Well if you can't tell what color the hair is, yes it is red! Katelyn came up to me with her hands cupped together and this is what she was holding. I first thought that it was barbie hair and was waiting for her to tell me that. Then she informed me that it belonged to my cute, adorable, perfect little red head. Oh wait, she pretends to be all those things and really she is mischievious, unpredictable, and my child to do all the knotty things first. None of my kids have ever given themselves a haircut before until now. And this all just happend only a couple hours before we were to go and get Family Pictures. That's right it was perfect timing. Morgan doesn't have very much hair as it is, but we managed to hide the cut in the pictures but soon after I realized that she really did need it touched up. So off to the hairdresser we went and this is my little girl now.
I should've fixed it a bit better but she wouldn't let me use the flat iron on it. She now has Bangs. She actually has some really short bangs in there but it we didn't want to go that short so we tried to make it stylish. Don't get fooled by that little grin. =)
Morgan got to go to her very first 'Tea Party.' She was sooo excited for this and got herself all dressed up and this is the picture that I got of her. Yes, she does have her finger up her nose. Gotta love it.

We had never been to 'This is the Place' and we had some free passes, so I took the kids there and it was so fun, they loved everything, from the animals, old houses, and the train rides. It is a really fun family place, so if you haven't gone, then I recommend going.

We went to 'Hollywood Connection' one afternoon and enjoyed all the fun rides.
Morgan even got to go on a few rides with me and loved it too. Thanks to a great Mother In Law that would stay back with Haven. We have already purchased our season passes for next year, PARTY!
This little girl is almost 8 months old, I can't believe it. She has been rolling around for a long time and is now scooting everywhere. She plays hide and seek with us, as it takes us a bit to find her sometimes.

The kids got to have a Primary activity at our new local Splash Pad. Morgan tagged along with Katelyn to play the activities.
There is a neighborhood bike parade every summer which we always seem to be gone for, but we managed to make an appearance this year. The kids loved decorating the bikes, oh wait, I did that part =(
I'm sure by now everyone that reads this blog knows that every summer we are gone up to Canada for a few weeks. Well we did it again. This time we had company on the way up. Tanya and her kids came with us(we left the husbands behind, they would meet up with us in Montana), but we still didn't have enough room so my inlaws traveled with us and brought Henry and Jackson. The boys absolutely loved riding in their car and had a blast the whole way.
