Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July weekend! Two of my sisters just moved to Utah so we got to hang out with them. One of them is living in Logan so we went up there to celebrate. The kids were so excited to see their cousins that they hadn't seen since November. (Yes they still remember them)
Here they are at the Lewiston, UT parade, there were a ton of people so they didn't get to fill their bags up to the top, but they got plenty of candy! It was a great parade! This is my sister Brianne that lives in Logan. Her youngest daughter Claire is 10 months old and looks bigger than Morgan.

Cassie, Henry and Katelyn had a ton of fun on this ride. They put their hands up at the top and got wicked butterflies as it came down. It was really cute watching them have so much fun and being big kids!

We had a little tramatic experience why'll we were at my sisters house. We lost Henrys blanket for quite a while. I don't know who was more worried about it, Henry or mom! We ended up finding it hours later in a toy that Uncle Nate had taken away from the kids earlier that day because they had been fighting over it. Yipee for finding it! Can't go anywhere without that blankie!

It was fun watching the kids as the fireworks were going off. One of them made a big BOOM sound and this is what Katelyn and Dylan immediately did. Too cute!

Henry absolutely loved playing with his cousins! He asks to go to their house every day! It is going to be so much fun having them so close to us now. They used to live in Michigan and Chicago, so I can handle a couple hour drive, no problem!

Happy Canada Day!

For all of you Americans that don't know a thing about Canada(you know who you are) it was our day yesterday! That's right, we don't have all the same holidays as you Americans.
It has been a long time since I haven't taken my kids up to Canada for the big July 1st celebration. Katelyn woke up yesterday morning acting all sad because she was going to miss the parade and the kid races. I laughed at her because she was being silly! I made us all wear Canada clothes or colors and some of you mocked me(he he), but 'I'm proud to be Canadian!' I had to take a couple of pictures of the kids, although Katelyn was at dance at the time so she didn't get any pictures. I thought they were pretty cute. I had to water my neighbors flowers so I took advantage of her cute backyard for a photo shoot. The one of Henry and Morgan was my fav. Too cute, eh?

Real Soccer Game!

Katelyns soccer team got to participate in the Real Soccer game this past Saturday. They got matching T-shirts and got to meet the team. Below they are waiting for the teams to come out of the tunnel so that they can walk onto the field with them.
They were a bit clueless to what was going on, but it was really cute to watch them. Katelyn got to walk out with #14 of the visiting team, who happened to be some fellow Canadians(yipee), it was the Toronto team.

Grandma and Grandpa Tatro came to cheer Katelyn on and also to be lifesavers for mom, because I was going crazy trying to organize everything. It turned out to be a wonderful evening!

I had to give in to the cotton candy, my kids favorite treat! I think that Henry ate more than anyone else. If it makes him happy, I'm good! What a sticky situation!

Visit to the Dentist!

We had our 6 month checkups at the dentist today, and Henry got to go for the very First time! I was quite nervous to take three little kids there by myself, but amazingly they did pretty good. The Dental assistants were amazing and helped make it a fun time for the kids.

Katelyn is always so good to just go on back by herself. She was so excited to tell the Dentist that she has never had a cavity before,.So when he found '2' cavities in her mouth he was not excited to be the one to tell her. She was a little bummed, but she'll be fine.

Henry on the other hand was a whole lot better than I thought he would be. He watched mom go up and down in the chair and then he was fine with it. They didn't take x-rays of him because they didn't want to scare him too bad, so he did make it into the 'No Cavity Club' after all.

Morgan was a little angel as always! No complaints about her, she doesn't have enough teeth to worry about yet. They even got to pick out a toy at the end! How exciting!

Katelyns Dance Recital!

Katelyn has been learning Ballet and Tap for the last couple of years. She loves it and looks forward to her weekly dance class. She loves seeing her friends and learning with them. She just had her end of the year dance recital and she did an excellent job in both her dances.

Happy 30th Jason!!!

That is right, I am officially married to an OLD man! Jason isn't a huge fan of surprises or being put on the spot, so for his 30th birthday I decided to do both. What a loving wife I am! He actually liked the attention, so there were no hard feelings.
The birthday celebration started on Saturday when I got babysitters and we went out to dinner and had some friends waiting at a restaurant to surprise him, I think that someone in the group spilled a little info about the dinner, but he still acted surprised. I had a questionairre that was filled with juicy info about Jasons life to see who knew him the best, it was really fun to hear what people thought. Jason was a pretty good sport! And then some of us went bowling afterwards. It was a lot of fun!

Jasons actually birthday was on Monday, but we opened presents on Sunday because Monday was going to be pretty busy. We got him a 'rowing machine' because he has always said that he wanted one, so now there are no excuses about not excersising, he he!
I made Jason a birthday breakfast and he didn't even eat all of it, but he appreciated it, and Katelyn made the orange juice, what a good helper!

Since Jason was the coach of Katelyns soccer team, he wanted to have a barbeque with the whole team, and we ended up doing it on his birthday. So we had a fun soccer cake that read 'congrats team, Happy Birthday Coach.' The girls all loved it.

So Happy Birthday Jason, you are a great husband and father. We love you and appreciate all the hard work that you do. Hope you had a Happy 30th Birthday!

The Pink Turtles!

What a name for a soccer team! They actually are a bit faster than turtles, but they wanted the name so we let them have it. We have had a fun first season of soccer. Katelyn loves having her daddy be the coach and I have been in charge of the league. So we have been quite busy with it, but it has been fun for Katelyn to play with her friends and to make some new ones as well.

All the teams got medals and they were very excited about them and all the parents were very proud of how much they have improved. Katelyn is pretty fast and aggresive. She is looking forward to playing again next year, and we are going to put Henry in soccer as well.
