Cute family pictures!

My cute friend came over at the last minute one day and took a few pictures for me. It was pretty hectic and the kids(and husband) weren't the best to cooperate so we tried with what we had and here is how they turned out.

Getting Older!

It was my birthday a couple days ago and Henry keeps on asking me why its my birthday even though it is over now. What a silly kid. I told him that even mommys get birthdays!
I had not been feeling too good the day before and so feeling a lot better on my birthday was a good start to the day. I was in the shower when Jason and the kids brought breakfast into me.
Since it was a pretty nice day outside, a good friend of mine and I took the kids for a picnic to the park and then Henry and I had to go to Kindergarten roundup. Just the two of us, it was nice. My cute father in law watched all three other kids, bless his heart!

Later Jason took me out to dinner and we got to leave all 4 kids with Grandma and Grandpa, and we went to 'The Roof' restaurant at the Joseph Smith Memorial building which was very nice. Then when we got home my Mother in law was doing the dishes and I told her to go sit down and she wouldn't. Then I find out it's because Jason had invited a bunch of friends over for cake and icecream and to surprise me. What a fun husband I have. I didn't think that he could surprise me like that, but he did. Great job Jason! It was a good 29th birthday!

Oh, Jason gave me tickets to the concert Bruno Mars and Janell Monae with their CD so I would know all their songs, as well as a gift cirtificate to Massage Envy which I could really really use right now. It will be nice to relax for a bit, so I'll make sure to use that pretty soon =)

Wrestling Stud!

Our neighbor coaches wrestling at a nearby High School so Jason wanted to sign Henry up for it. It is about 5 weeks long and they start out with classes and clinics that teach the kids techniques and then they have a few tournaments where they get at least two matches. Here is Henrys first tournament at Hunter High School! He had a great cheering squad which consisted of our little family, Uncle Stephen and Aunt Mandi, Aunt Mindy, and Grandma and Grandpa Tatro! What a great support system we have! Morgan looks very excited to be here and hanging out with Grandma Tatro! Henry is a little annoyed with the picture, or the fact that he has to wrestle!

It was quite funny to watch, during his first match he started to cry for a second and then he got mad at the other kid. He did improve during the second match and he actually did really good at getting away from the other kids but then he wouldn't try to wrestle them. I couldn't believe that he wouldn't go after the enemy when he finally had the chance and wouldn't get in trouble for doing it.

February Fun!

Here are a few random pictures from February that I thought I needed to blog about.

First is Henry and Morgan on Valentines day. They were both having so much fun going through all their valentines that they got from friends at school. What an exciting time for kids, I remember loving valentines day and thinking about who to give each one to(with so much thought). My kids all get candy attached to theirs, I don't remember getting near as much as them, it's like Halloween all over again. =) This is what Katelyn was wearing when she walked in the door from school. It kind of startled me at first and I was a bit curious. They had a Dr. come and visit their class and talk to them. So she was pretty excited to show us all the new do.

I am so ready for spring to be here, although I was happy to see the pretty snowfall and to play in it with the kids. This was actually this past week though! The kids were so excited to make snow men(2 in the foreground) and a little snow fort. Hopefully this is the last snow we'll see for many months!

Jasons first 5K!

Since Haven has been born, it has been a bit difficult for me to get things done as fast as I would like to, so I'm trying to catch up on the blogging. If I get at least one post done tonight, then I'm doing good.

Jason has been crazy lately, that is crazy about exercising/working out at the gym this cold, long winter, but now that we've seen a few days of sunshine once in awhile he will be outside running. He has a few big races in the near future that he is training for, but first he had to start out with his first 5K. It was the South Davis Sweetheart 5K in Bountiful in February! So me being the good wife that I am, lugged all four kids out(luckily it was actually pretty decent weather) of the house before 9am on a Saturday morning(sleep in day =( ).
Our friends(Roundys) were running it to, so the wives and kids got to cheer the daddys on. Jason did great for his first race and is still running so it must not have been too bad. He was supposed to run only 6 miles last Saturday and decided to just keep going to see what he could do, and he ran 13.1 miles(1/2 marathon). What a crazy guy. He did good and felt fine, that is until he decided to go play basketball later in the day and pulled his hamstring and hasn't walked normal for a week! What a punk! Aaron Roundy has been a great help and friend to Jason with his new passion for running. I don't know if I should thank Aaron or not, because I'm kindof jealous because I don't get to run with a newborn and no sleep it just isn't too easy yet. Although I did manage to go 2 miles today, and I won't tell you how much I had to walk. Having a baby does take a toll on your body, so don't judge me =)

Jasons mom and stepdad are the best supporters we could ever have. We forgot to tell them about the race so I called them at 8:30am that morning and they hopped in the car to cheer him on, and help me out with the kids. They are great!

Baby Haven!

My cute sister in law took some pictures of Haven yesterday. She is still editing them, but I had to post one for now because I thought they were so adorable.
Shooting a newborn is NOT easy, this little girl loves to be bundled up in her blanket, so as soon as we would take it off of her she would wake up. Photographers must have a lot of patience. Thanks Jordan for doing such a great job and having tons of patience. I will add more pictures as they come.
