Another School Year!

That's right we are off to another new school year. Look at how much these kids have grown. They were so excited to go back to school and meet their new teachers. Yes, I was very excited to. I am down to only one child 2 times a week while Morgan is in preschool. Yah, I'm going to PARTAY!!!
Katelyn has a great teacher this year. Mrs. Banks seems very nice. She even has one of her really good friends in her class again this year. Her and Braelyn love playing together. She is now in second grade.

Henry is soooo excited to go to Katelyns big school now. He also has one little neighbor friend in his class, and his Kindergarten teacher seems very nice.

He is such a big boy, in fact he is so big that he got on the school bus all by himself the othere day. Thats right, last week I went to pick him up from school and he was nowhere to be found. I had no idea where he could be. The teacher said they would look for him around the school. So I drove the neighborhood and couldn't find him. Then I went back to the school to see if they had found him and all the teachers were eating lunch. Great, I was very happy at the moment. My mind started to wander and think of all the bad things that could happen to my child. I was a wreck.

The school called the police to report it. People were running all over the school checking everywhere. Then the thought came to my mind that he may have taken the bus with his new friend from class whom I had just met his mom. The secretary called the bus drivers and they said he wasn't on the bus. This is when I called Jason and he was in the car home in no time.

So the school called his friends house and her son hadn't gotten off the bus yet so she was going to watch for him. Henry didn't get off on Haydens stop so she got on the bus and found him sitting there. He had thought that the bus would bring him to his house, little did he know.

We were so relieved to find him, so The Police, Jason, and I all met at their house. Henry was very scared to see the Police, but it was a very good teaching lesson for him. What a great reunion. Yes, Henry ended up being grounded for a while.

I am so greatful to those who dropped everything to help me. It means so much to me and I'm so greatful for the wonderful neighbors and friends that I have. I love you guys.

I Love my kids, but this is just a Huge reminder of how much I really do Love them and need to protect and warn them of things. 'You Live to close to the school, so the Bus will not bring you home!'

My little princess is started preschool. I can't believe it, yes she is quite a bit smaller than everyone in her

class. Her teacher is Ms. Amy(who Katelyn and Henry both had). We are very excited to start a new year.

More Summer Fun!

We were so lucky to have my cute, fun, loveable, kind, and terrific neice come stay with us for a few days this summer. We had been trying to make it work all summer, so near the end we made it happen.
McKenzie is such a cutie and loves to play with the kids. I think that Henry has a secret crush on her because she is just so sweet to everyone. She includes the kids in everything and is just wonderful.
Well, now that I've told you about how wonderful she is, now I will tell you about all the wonderful things her Favorite Aunt did with her while she stayed with us. =)
We had never been to 'This is the Place' and we had some free passes, so I took the kids there and it was so fun, they loved everything, from the animals, old houses, and the train rides. It is a really fun family place, so if you haven't gone, then I recommend going.

One of the older houses on display!

She was a pro at this!

We went to 'Hollywood Connection' one afternoon and enjoyed all the fun rides.

Morgan was hilarious to watch on this bumper car. She could quite figure out how to turn and steer the thing, she had fun trying though.

At the roller rink, the kids all tried it and yes they did fall flat on their bottoms more than once.

I just love this picture of Morgan, I don't know exactly what she was doing, but I thought it was funny.

Haven had a great time as well.

We also went to 7 peaks, bowling, and Cherry Hill. I was a little worn out afterwards but we had a great time. Oh and the kids did sleep out on our new trampoline a couple times. They all had so much fun together. We love having family close so that we can see them often. We love you McKenzie!

Summer Fun!!!

Wow, it seems like summer has come and gone so fast. Although I am ready for Fall to be here.

We did have a blast this summer even when we were not on vacation. We had seasons passes to both 'Cherry Hill' and '7 Peaks Salt Lake.' We definetly got very good use out both of these. I managed to bring my camera to 7 peaks one of the last times. The kids absolutely loved the water, wave pool and slides. We had lots of friends that had passes to either park, so we were never alone in the fun. I even saved one of my friends little boys from drowning, so she owes me big time =). Without friends and inlaws to help entertain the kids it wouldn't have been as fun. Grandpa was Katelyns favorite buddy to go with on all the big slides.

Henry is getting better at swimming on his own. He wanted to go in the hot tub quite frequently, but it says you must be older than 5, so he'd sneak his way in everytime. I tried to make him lie and say he was 6, but he wouldn't have it. =)

Morgan even got to go on a few rides with me and loved it too. Thanks to a great Mother In Law that would stay back with Haven. We have already purchased our season passes for next year, PARTY!

This little girl is almost 8 months old, I can't believe it. She has been rolling around for a long time and is now scooting everywhere. She plays hide and seek with us, as it takes us a bit to find her sometimes.

(Oh, and yes I did make these cute little baby legs)

The kids got to have a Primary activity at our new local Splash Pad. Morgan tagged along with Katelyn to play the activities.

There is a neighborhood bike parade every summer which we always seem to be gone for, but we managed to make an appearance this year. The kids loved decorating the bikes, oh wait, I did that part =(

Echo Lake, Montana!

What a blast we have with family, cousins, and of course the water. There is so much to do at the cabin, boating, swimming, volleyball games, coaster cars, tandem bike, campfires, 4 wheeling, parks, shopping, you name it we did it. The guys have always talked about building a zipline across the lake, so they finally did it this time. It was a huge success, we all loved it. If I can upload the video of Jason going on it first then you'll have to watch it. It was hilarious, it was so incredibly slow we couldn't stop laughing. They got it fixed and going a bit faster afterwards. It was great.
Since I'm so slow at blogging and it's been so long since we were there(July) I will just let you check out the pictures of all the fun times we had together. Good ol Echo Lake.

Canada - Summer 2011

I'm sure by now everyone that reads this blog knows that every summer we are gone up to Canada for a few weeks. Well we did it again. This time we had company on the way up. Tanya and her kids came with us(we left the husbands behind, they would meet up with us in Montana), but we still didn't have enough room so my inlaws traveled with us and brought Henry and Jackson. The boys absolutely loved riding in their car and had a blast the whole way.
We always have so much fun up in Canada. I love going home and just hanging out on the farm and spending time with my kids and showing them the things that I used to do when I was younger. The kids would put their boots on and head out to the cows. We wouldn't see them for hours. They would just wander around and check out things on the farm. Good old times. I LOVE CANADA!

4th of July!

We were able to go up to Logan for the 4th weekend to hang out with my sisters. The kids had a blast with their cousins and enjoyed the festivities. We were able to go to the 'Crusin In'(tons and tons of old cars cruising down main), Lewiston parade, and of course we had to do fireworks which topped it all off. Morgan is anxiously waiting to fill her bag with tons of candy!

Happy Canada Day!

Its been a while since we weren't able to go home for July 1st to Celebrate Canada Day! So I still had to pretend that we had a bit of us up North and wear our true colors!
