Girls Weekend in San Fransisco!

This past weekend we had a girls weekend in San Francisco with my sisters, sister in laws and my mom. It was our very first girls weekend and a much needed one. With three of us being pregnant I don't think that this will happen again anytime soon. So we soaked in the fun and enjoyed our time away from the hubbies and kiddies. Although we did talk to them lots and missed them, we still managed to have a ton of fun and spend lots of money. Below is a slide show of some of the pictures that were taken. We were able to see a ton of attractions and eat some great food. My favorite food was the clam chowder that came in the yummiest bread bowl of all. I absolutely love crusty bread and I think that we got some at pretty much every restaurant we ate at. It was great food, we would tell them it was Briannes bday at every place and she had no idea, it was great. But the last meal we changed it to Jordan and boy was she surprised. What kids we are, right?
We were able to go shopping in Union Square and China Town and found some great deals/items to take home. The kids loved the little souveniers, the trolley car for Henry who loves trains and then the little Wooden Russian dolls that stack inside of one another for the girls.
It was great to spend time with all the girls and get to know them better.
One last thing I promise, there ended up being 7 beds for 7 of us, no queens though, so we drew names and went to each bed to see who got to sleep where. There was only one bed that was pretty bad(a hard hard futon), and guess who ended up with that one? Yes, me, I couldn't believe it, the most pregnant one of all. My dear sweet sister Brianne felt bad for me and shared her bed, but then we both ended up getting no sleep. So the next night she made a bed on the floor out of the couch cusions(because someone was sleeping on the hide a bed) and said that she slept great. What a GREAT sister, I owe her big time.

Jason had a good weekend with the kids, he took them down to Price to hang out with my brother in law and his kids. They were able to run around, ride bikes, watch cousins play football, and just have a blast. Although he was pretty worn out by the time I got home. What a great husband to allow me to do this.

Conference Weekend!

I look forward to this weekend twice a year. It is so nice to be able to just sit around and relax and listen to the wonderful speakers and leaders of our church.
My sisters family came up from Price and the guys went fishing with the kids at a local pond. The kids had fun and most of them caught a fish. It was fun watching them for part of it.



They always have to feed the ducks as well. We can never bring enough bread though!

The kids were getting a bit restless during the end of the morning session, so they decided to do some arm/leg wrestling. It was funny to watch, they loved it though! We had a fun weekend with them. We made a nice big ham dinner and Jesse and Jordyn came over as well.

September!

When we found out we were having another girl we decided to switch kids around in bedrooms. Morgan has been climbing out of her crib and waking Katelyn up, so we decided to give Morgan a big girl bed and her very own bedroom. We moved our office in with our guest bedroom and put Morgan in the old office. She has been sleeping pretty good in her big girl bed, although one day while she was supposed to be napping, here is what I found. She was fast asleep in the middle of the bedroom floor so I had to take a picture. She sometimes will get out of bed and sit in her closet with her blankets, what a silly girl.
So when I finish decorating the kids bedrooms, I will post a couple pictures! Since I'm pregnant I haven't been running much(or at all) but a good friend of mine that ran all three half marathons with me last summer decided to run a FULL Marathon. What a crazy girl! So Kristina and I went up to Logan for the day to watch Melissa run the 'Top of Utah Marathon.' It was so neat to see her accomplish this goal, she did great!

The husbands had the kids all day and decided to get together for the BYU football game, so this is what we came home to. It was cute seeing the kids all play together so well. (they are watching a movie)

I took Henry and Morgan down to American Fork to see Great Grandpa Folsom and Grandma Colene. They are so cute with my kids and very patient. It is great having them so close, I just wish we could get down to see them even more often.

My Grandma Folsom passed away almost a year ago and so for her birthday on the 25th, we got together with family and decided to do what my Grandma did best and that is cook. So we made some of her delicious spud nuts. They are sooooo good! It was a great way to remember her and to keep her wonderful talents with us. She was such a sweet lady and will always be missed.
So here is Morgan and Case with their cup full of raspberries that they picked off of my Aunts bushes. They loved them, and we loved the mess that they made!
My parents also came down for the weekend on a last minute decision so we got to see them for just a bit and I didn't even get any pictures of them, but the kids absolutely loved seeing them and spending time with them. They came to church with us and we went and fed the ducks! We always love having them visit.

Labor Day/Grandpa Hulls Birthday!

We went up to the Hull cabin in Montana for a surprise birthday weekend for Jasons dad! We were able to get all the kids to come and surprise him. It was his 60th birthday so we wanted to make it a special one. We had 29 people in their 3 bedroom cabin. It was definetly a house full, but a lot of fun.
Robert had a heart attack this past May and we almost lost him, so we are all so greatful that he is still with us and that our kids will be able to have many more memories to share with their wonderful Grandpa! He is a great guy and loves to be with the kids!

On the way up we decided to take a little detour and go swim at some hot springs with the kids. They had a lot of fun and it was very warm and smelled like sulfur big time.

All the adults were able to go out to dinner without the chaos of the kids, thanks to great older nieces for babysitting! It was a nice evening out in Eureka! The kids love the freedom of running around the place, although they didn't go outside much after we spotted a bear near the cabin. It wasn't too big though, but it was neat to see! Their is so much wildlife around, the kids saw tons of deer as well.

Poor little Morgan was sick the whole time we were there. She kept on throwing up and just wanted me to hold her. I felt so bad for her, here is Bryson giving her a bath to make her feel better!

It's a GIRL!

I've been meaning to post about the baby, but things have been crazy and I completely forgot.

Anyway, so yeah we found out what we are having and it is another GIRL! We are very excited, although Henry still thinks its a boy, so he may be a bit surprised when she comes out. Things have been pretty good, I've been feeling pretty good, just hungry all the time and huge. I already feel like I'm 9 months prego with back pains, charlie horses in the middle of the night, and my ribs are getting pushed in. Don't we just love being pregnant?

I've been busy doing projects and making things in preparation for the baby to come, so I am definetly not ready for her to come early.

1st Day of School!

What a busy and exciting time it has been in our household as starting a new grade has come! That's right, my big girl has just started 1st Grade and she was pretty nervous about it. She has a close friend in her class, so that was a relief for her. She loves school and loves her teacher, although she has not enjoyed all day school. She is so worn out by the end of the day and it has been hard for her. She has loved being able to walk home and eat in the cafeteria, she is definetly growing up way to fast.

We have missed her at home for sure. Henry always asks when sissy is coming home and doesn't understand why she is gone for so long. So we all have an adjustment to get used to. I was definetly a bit teary eyed seeing my big girl walk off with her class.

Henry started his 2nd year of preschool at 'Foxtales' and he was so excited about it. I told him that he will be the big man on campus and will have to be the teachers big helper. He has a tendency to be a bit on the naughty side, so I had to talk to him a bit.
It helped though, because he had a great first day and said that he was a good boy!
So now 2 times a week Morgan and I get alone time! I can handle one child, I think!

Last week we decided to do a little joy school with a few kids and take turns hosting/teaching.
So Morgan had her first day of school today and it was so incredibly cute. She was a bit confused at first and didn't understand what she was doing,
but she was pretty excited to wear her big girl backpack!

It was really nice to have just Henry while Katelyn and Morgan were gone to school! I think that he really needs one on one time once in a while, so I tried to make it special for him.

I asked him what he wanted to do, and he said 'go to the Pet Store.' So we went to the pet store for a while and had a good ol time. Then we got smoothies on the way home. He was loving being the only child and being my big boy!

Ward Campout!

We were looking so forward to our ward campout! We love going camping and the kids always have a blast. We just need to do it more often!
Well this years campout couldn't have been on a worse weekend(weather wise). It has been such nice weather and then it was rainy most of the weekend. We still headed up and were real troopers about it.

It was pretty rainy off and on but we still had a ton of fun! The kids ran wild with their friends and had fun staying up late. Since it rained a lot on Friday, I didn't bring my camera out until just before we were leaving, but managed to get a few pictures of the happy campers. Katelyn and Braelyn!
