Firm Picnic!

Every year the kids look forward to this picnic. They always have the same clown come and entertain the kids. He makes balloon characters, pinyata and is a blast for the kids. They got to get their faces painted and play in the bounce house. They had a lot of fun!

Sleeping Patterns!

This little girl has always got us on our toes. Lately she has been playing in her room for quite a while during naptime before finally falling asleep. I usually regret not taking more pictures of these random moments, so I quickly took advantage of this one. I went to check on her and she was sound asleep this way. Doesn't look too comfortable, but maybe I'll have to try it sometime! (I just noticed the stools and diaper in her bed to, silly girl) A few days after the above picture was taken, this is how I found her napping. She is inside her pillowcase, I told you she is a little character. She will think of anything. One day I went to check on her and her big, tall dresser had fallen over after she had climbed up it, she is dang lucky that she didn't get stuck underneath. She did get some scrapes from it, but she had fallen asleep shortly after getting whatever it was she needed off the top of it. That red hair spunk is finally coming out of her =(.
Kids say the darndest things. Yesterday Morgan was playing house and she was the mommy. I asked her who I could be and she said 'The Sweetheart.' I sure love this little girl.

Buckhorn Wash!

We went down to 'Buckhorn Wash' to go camping with Tanya and Brian over Memorial Weekend. It was so much fun, the kids absolutely loved getting dirty, climbing all over the rocks, riding bikes, and going for rides on the 4-wheelers. It was exactly what we needed, a family vacation away from all the busy things that have been going on lately. The baby just hung out in the bjorn all day while we were riding around and she was so good. We rented a trailer with them, which was really nice to have for the baby. Jason wanted to sleep out in the tent with the kids, so I let him. We had a great time, although we were very excited to get home to a nice shower. I've never seen so much dirt before in my life. The kids were absolutely filthy.

Done with 1st Grade!

It's that time of year with all the school programs and end of the year events with classes. Katelyn has loved her teacher this year. Mrs. Wilcox is super nice and sweet. She had surgery during the middle of the year and the kids missed her so bad and couldn't wait for her to get back. Katelyn has learned to read, do math and love school even more. She is such a little social butterfly and is always making new friends.
I was able to go into her class a couple times a month to help read with the kids. It was so fun to see the kids in a different atmosphere. Since Katelyn is my oldest, this is still a little new for me. She is definitly growing up whether I like it or not. Now she is on to Second Grade! Katelyn had two other kids from our ward/neighborhood in her class this year. Braelyn and Logan!

Preschool Graduation!

I can't believe that Henry will be going into Kindergarten next year. I'm actually looking really forward to it in a very selfish way =). I'm going to get a few hours with Just Haven while all the kids are in school, yipee!

Henry was excited for his preschool graduation, he had been learning and practicing his songs and skit and was ready to perform. He usually gets really shy whenever the spotlight is on him, but he actually did all his parts this time(not that we could hear him very well though).

These pictures are kind of in a random order, this one is of the kids releasing their balloons at the end. Some were not so eager to release them(Henry had to wait a few min before doing so). Henry and Ms. Amy. She is the best teacher and has been so good with my kids. Katelyn went to her and now Morgan will also go to her next year. We absolutely love Ms. Amy!
They did a little skit of 'The Three Little Pigs,' Henry got to be the man that sold things to the pigs.

This was the favorit song, 'Tutty Ta!' The kids were cracking up and loved shaking their booties!

Katelyns Softball!

Katelyn got to try playing softball this spring and she did pretty good at it. She is also still learning and we'll have to practice more with the kids to get them more used to it and swinging right. But she met a few new friends and had fun with it. She loved her cool trophy that she got at the end.

Henrys T-Ball!

Tonight was Henrys last game of tball for the season! We decided to try something new with Henry to see if he would enjoy it. He loves being with his friends and is still has a lot to learn. He almost took out his coach with his bat after he hit the ball(now when he goes up to hit we have to remind him to 'DROP' the bat after he hits). Poor coach fears for his life when Henry gets up!
