1st Day of School!

What a busy and exciting time it has been in our household as starting a new grade has come! That's right, my big girl has just started 1st Grade and she was pretty nervous about it. She has a close friend in her class, so that was a relief for her. She loves school and loves her teacher, although she has not enjoyed all day school. She is so worn out by the end of the day and it has been hard for her. She has loved being able to walk home and eat in the cafeteria, she is definetly growing up way to fast.

We have missed her at home for sure. Henry always asks when sissy is coming home and doesn't understand why she is gone for so long. So we all have an adjustment to get used to. I was definetly a bit teary eyed seeing my big girl walk off with her class.

Henry started his 2nd year of preschool at 'Foxtales' and he was so excited about it. I told him that he will be the big man on campus and will have to be the teachers big helper. He has a tendency to be a bit on the naughty side, so I had to talk to him a bit.
It helped though, because he had a great first day and said that he was a good boy!
So now 2 times a week Morgan and I get alone time! I can handle one child, I think!


I wasn't ready for this one!
Last week we decided to do a little joy school with a few kids and take turns hosting/teaching.
So Morgan had her first day of school today and it was so incredibly cute. She was a bit confused at first and didn't understand what she was doing,
but she was pretty excited to wear her big girl backpack!
So here she is heading off on her own!


I love the expression on Morgans face here. She is showing off one of the cute things she did at preschool. What a fun time she had! I get to host next week!

It was really nice to have just Henry while Katelyn and Morgan were gone to school! I think that he really needs one on one time once in a while, so I tried to make it special for him.

I asked him what he wanted to do, and he said 'go to the Pet Store.' So we went to the pet store for a while and had a good ol time. Then we got smoothies on the way home. He was loving being the only child and being my big boy!

Ward Campout!

We were looking so forward to our ward campout! We love going camping and the kids always have a blast. We just need to do it more often!
Well this years campout couldn't have been on a worse weekend(weather wise). It has been such nice weather and then it was rainy most of the weekend. We still headed up and were real troopers about it.

It was pretty rainy off and on but we still had a ton of fun! The kids ran wild with their friends and had fun staying up late. Since it rained a lot on Friday, I didn't bring my camera out until just before we were leaving, but managed to get a few pictures of the happy campers. Katelyn and Braelyn!

The Hull Reunion - July 2010

We got to go up to the Hull Reunion at Jasons dads cabin in Montana! It was so much fun to see his family and all his cousins and just relax on the lake and visit. We got to see family that we haven't seen for a while, namely his sister Stacey who lives up in Canada. It was a great weekend. The kids had so much fun with their cousins and hardly slept at all. We got to stay a few days extra with his dad and lorraine and also Stacey. It was really fun for the kids to see their grandparents and to spend so much time with them. They are great!
Have I ever said how much I Love Montana? It is such a great and fun place!

Montana!

JULY 2010

After spending some time up in Canada, Jason had to head home to work and then flew back up to join us for the rest of our vacation. We stayed at the Folsom Cabin on Echo Lake, Montana! It is such a beautiful place to be. The cabin is right on the lake and it absolutely so much fun for the kids. I hardly have to watch them when we are there(except for when Morgan walks into the lake up to her chest without a life jacket). They run wild with their cousins and take turns going out on the boat and for rides on the tubes. It is great!
We had some rain why'll we were there, so we went to see 'Toy Story 3' and the kids loved it! Did a bit of shopping and just sun tanned(or tried to, I burn though). The kids got brave after a while and tried the knee board out and got up, I didn't want to be too crazy being pregnant and all, so I just went knee boarding. Jason went knee boarding and wake boarding! The whole family went on the tube, even Morgan and she loved it! It was SOOO much fun!
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Folsom for having such a beautiful and fun place for us to vacation to, and for letting us come for so long!

Canada - EH!

JULY 2010
We had a very busy and fun summer! We went up to Canada for the big 1st of July celebration, and two Family Reunions. It was a very crazy and fun time for all of us. The kids absolutely love going up to stay at Grandma and Grandpa Folsoms farm and seeing all the cows. They would come in from seeing the cows and helping feed them, and they would STINK like crap. I thought that I would be used to it, but no, it was bad. It didn't seem to bother them though.
We got there at 4 in the afternoon on the 30th of June after traveling all day and not getting much sleep, and we were talked into doing a mini triathlon. Jason and two brother in laws were on a team and my sisters and I were another team. Jason did the bike riding, I did the running for our team. It was great fun, but I wish I would've practiced and known before hand that we were participating! The guy team ended up getting first place, we were in the middle! It was a fun family event!
The day that we were leaving Jason got someone to cover a case for him and came with us, so we were excited to have daddy along for the trip!
We got to spend a week and a half up in Canada! It was great time!

Firm Retreat!

What a fun and relaxing weekend! Jasons firm had a firm retreat up in Deer Valley(by Park City) and we got to leave the kiddies at home with the inlaws(they are the best). I don't know when the last time we had a couple nights without kids, let a lone even one night without kids, so I was really looking forward to it. Especially now that I'm expecting #4, it will be a very nice break.
We drove up to Park City on Thursday night and met up with a bunch of Jasons coworkers for a really nice dinner, which was delicious. Then on Friday, Jason went golfing while I got to enjoy a great massage at the spa. It was only supposed to be like 25 min and they bumped it up to 50 min, so I didn't complain at all. They spa was so incredibly nice, it was like one straight out of the movies, so beautiful and relaxing. I loved every minute of it.
Then off to the outlets I went. I spent 5-6 hours just shopping by myself, although it wasn't just for myself of course. It was so nice to not have to stop and change diapers, wipe faces, feed kids, etc. It was great just going on my own schedule, although I really needed that massage at the end of the day, my feet were incredibly sore. I got some great deals and had a ton of fun.
Friday evening the firm had a nice dinner for everyone and then we just mingled with others and I got to know some of the spouses really well.
Then here I am now, Saturday morning I went to breakfast and now I'm relaxing why'll Jason is at meetings(ha ha). I'm not quite ready for my vacation to be over, so maybe we won't go home for a few more days!

Bitter Sweet!

As a few of you know, I got released from my Church calling today. I was serving as the Second Counselor in the Relief Society in our ward for the past two years. I knew that this was coming as it was time to switch things up, but I was still a bit emotional today. I have absolutely loved this calling and getting to know the sisters in our ward and neighbors. What a wonderful experience it has been serving with the sisters in our ward and presidency. It was funny because I was telling my kids about me getting released and Henry was sooo excited that I wouldn't have meetings anymore, he loves it when I'm home I guess. Too cute!

I was gone pretty much all of July, so I will update my blog with pictures this week, life has been crazy. But I wanted to take the opportunity under this title of 'Bitter Sweet' to announce that we are Expecting #4 child on January 26th!

Don't get me wrong, I am really excited, and this was planned, it's just that some days I go crazy with the three that I have, so I hope that I will be able to handle 4 kids and a husband! I have no idea how people have tons of kids, I'm kind of hoping that this will be a boy so I can be done, but I would for sure be happy with a girl too.

Right now I'm 15 weeks along, so we will be able to find out in a few weeks what the sex of the baby is. I really didn't want to find out but now we need to do a lot of rearranging in the house so I guess that it will be a good thing!

I've been feeling pretty good for the most part, just need to stuff my face with food constantly. If I'm hungry, then stay out of my way because I get mean=) I am actually enemic this pregnancy, so I have to take extra iron pills. I get really light headed and need to drink a lot though. My kids keep on telling me that my tummy is getting bigger all the time. What a great reminder!
